Besides our beautiful setting and terrain, this daily 3pm tradition might just be Beaver Creek’s most renowned claim to fame. This vintage-style, ski-in ski-out candy store at the top of Strawberry Park Express Lift (#12) offers popular favorites as well as special treats you’ll only get here at the Beaver Creek Candy Cabin. THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Every Thursday from mid-December through March, the sky lights up with fireworks over Centennial Express Lift. While that’s an incredible experience in and of itself, perhaps even more special is that intermediate and above skiers and snowboarders are invited to participate in the glow stick parade prior to the fireworks!

Beaver Creek’s events quickly become traditions – from the opening day Cookie Compe- tition to the Christmas Tree Lighting, Winter Culinary Weekend and the banner event: the Grand Tasting. Participants come back year after year to earn their spot on the wall for the Talons Challenge – a leg burner of a day doing some of Beaver Creek’s most iconic bump runs. And, of course, we hold the distinction of being the only mountain in the United States to hold a stop on the World Cup with Birds of Prey.
